Administrative Leadership
President
The President is the chief administrative authority of the Panchayat. The President provides leadership for the development activities and administrative functions of the Panchayat.
Vice President
The Vice President assists in the administrative activities of the Panchayat and performs the administrative responsibilities in the absence of the President.
Standing Committees
Standing Committees
Standing Committees are responsible for overseeing various areas such as development, finance, health and education activities of the Panchayat.
Development Standing Committee
Implements the development projects of the Panchayat. It focuses on public welfare and the development of basic infrastructure.
Finance Standing Committee
The Finance Standing Committee is responsible for monitoring and managing the revenue and expenditure of the Panchayat.
Health & Education Standing Committee
This committee is responsible for overseeing health and education-related activities of the Panchayat.
Welfare Standing Committee
This committee implements public welfare programmes and focuses on social security and welfare activities.

Panchayat Officials
Panchayat Secretary
The Secretary is the principal administrative officer of the Panchayat and coordinates office activities and administrative functions.
Assistant Secretary
Assists in the administrative and office activities of the Panchayat. The Assistant Secretary also serves as the Member Secretary of Kudumbashree and coordinates various welfare programmes. The officer also undertakes implementation responsibilities related to Scheduled Caste development programmes.
Junior Superintendent
The Junior Superintendent supervises the day-to-day office activities of the Panchayat. The officer coordinates file procedures and the functioning of office sections and provides supervision and control over staff activities.
Accountant
The Accountant is responsible for managing the financial transactions and accounts of the Panchayat. The officer prepares and maintains income and expenditure statements and manages budget, tax and financial records.
Clerk
The Clerk handles files and records of the Panchayat. The officer manages tax collection, applications and office registers and performs ward-based responsibilities and service-related activities.
Senior Clerk
The Senior Clerk supervises office records and administrative procedures. The officer coordinates the functioning of various office sections and manages the scrutiny and processing of important files.
Office Attendant
The Office Attendant assists in the day-to-day office activities of the Panchayat. The officer performs duties such as transferring documents, maintaining office arrangements and providing general support for office activities.
Responsibilities of Major Components
Grama Sabha
The Grama Sabha is the general assembly of the people of the Panchayat. It discusses development projects, public needs and welfare activities and makes recommendations regarding these matters.
Grama Panchayat Committee
The Grama Panchayat Committee is the governing body consisting of elected representatives. It manages the development and administrative affairs of the Panchayat.
President & Vice President
