Alur Grama Panchayat in Kerala has been officially divided into 24 electoral wards by the Kerala Delimitation Commission through the final notification issued on 15 May 2025. The document defines the boundaries of each ward using major roads, canals, railway lines, junctions, temples, churches, bus stops, ponds, and neighboring Panchayats/Municipalities. The Panchayat shares boundaries with nearby local bodies including Muriyad, Kodakara, Chalakudy Municipality, Mala, Velookkara and Puthenchira. The ward delimitation order also includes the population details of every ward and serves as the official administrative and electoral boundary record for the Panchayat
